I am Brent Keis

Welcome to my website; I hope you will find the background information

helpful in making your decision to choose me as your Mediator, Arbitrator or Special Judge. 

It was my honor and privilege to be appointed Judge of Tarrant County Court at Law #1 in 1989 by Governor Bill Clements and to serve the people of Tarrant County in that position for almost 22 years, until my retirement from the bench on Dec.31, 2010.  Throughout my years as a Judge and consistent with the Judicial Canon of Ethics, I participated in hundreds of evaluative mediations.  That experience, coupled with my years as a litigation attorney, and my subsequent private practice mediations; I believe has given me some somewhat unique and special mediations skills.
